HISTORY:BMX Racing is a form of off-road bike racing that consist of 8 riders that began in Southern California in 1969. Bike sizes range from a 20" wheel size to 24". The course is rolling with multiple jumps (7-10'), step-downs, and banked curves that are negotiated at high speeds. Athletes typically wear full helmets and body armor to minimize the severity of injuries. Watch this incredible film as we head towards the 2021 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
